Have power but no screen and it is beeping it is the memory problem. Have you done with replacing the screen and it is working fine. Check the memory stick maybe it is affected during the time of replacing the screen. Remove the memory stick clean the dust and reinsert the memory stick. If the same things happen you need to disassemble the unit.

Good luck!

That could be your out of memory. Try to reseat the card. Unplugged battery and AC supply cord before doing this. Or contact is dirty, try to wipe it with soft gel eraser. Or have an spare memory to test.

Hope this immediately solves your problem.

This is a problem with some of the screens that you get. If you have plugged in the screen then you are having a backlight issue. Just because the screen is new does not mean that it is not flawed i had the same issue. All lights that power on are normal and the only thing that is different is the screen doesnt come on. One thing that you can do to make sure that it is not a video card issue is plug a regular monitor into the output and test to see if you get the picture there. If you do then it is more than likely going to be the backlights and you need to send the screen back, if you do not get a signal to that monitor then you need to make sure that you have everything plugged in correctly. If all is plugged in correctly then you have a video card issue and you can start from there.

My screen is black

When you plug in the power cord is there any lightswhatsoever on the laptop, where the plug goes in or on the AC Adapter of thepower cord?

When you press the power button do you hear fans running, hard drive spinning, lights on the computer, hear any beeps or lights constantly blinking, hear theDvD/CD drive click and the light on the drawer of the DvD/CD turn on for asecond or two? If so the laptop is trying to boot or may have booted, butthe screen is not showing for some reason.

Beep tones and blinking lights tells the technicians what is going on with thelaptop and why it is not booting. Most times it's a motherboard issuewhen you hear beeps or blinking lights continuous.

Maybe your power cord is bad if you don't get anything to happen whatsoeverwhen you press the power button. And if that's true maybe you wasoperating off the battery the last time you had it on and since the power cordis bad, it was not charging the battery so the battery is drained and the powercord is bad.

Maybe you have a Static Charge Buildup. Remove the Power Cord, Remove theBattery, then Press and Hold the power button for 30seconds. After 30 seconds plug the power cord back in (leave the batteryout) and hit the power button to see if it boots. If it does, you can putthe battery back in and let it charge. If it seems like the laptop is up and running but the screen is not displaying anything then the issue is with the screen. Take a flashlight and shine it on the screen and look very hard and you might see the icons or something very faintly on the screen. If so, your LCD Inverter needs to be replaced. It is located at the bottom of the screen and covered by the strip that goes around the screen. IIf you don't see anything on the screen then try plugging an external monitor to the laptop. I can be any kind of monitor, even the old big fat crt's as long as it has a vga cable that can go into your laptop's vga port. If you see the image on the external monitor, that means your video card is good and the screen needs to be replaced. Sometimes you might have to hit the FN key plus one of the F1 thru F12 keys to get the image to display. The correct F1 thru F12 key will either say CRT/LCD or it will have the icon of a display on it. Press and Hold the FN key then hit the correct F1 thru F12 key. This will toggle the the image to display either on the computer's screen, the external monitor screen, or on both screens.

Why is my ps3 160 gb not working.. the green light comes on. but takes 10s to come off. there is no yello light. maybe its the hdd . . . there is nothing showing on the screen

Hi there, try to do a hard reboot on your system. I suggest you have the system turned off, and when you power it up from the system itself hold the power button not just push it. It will beep and turn on but while you are holding the button it should beep beep again and turn back off continue to hold the button and it should boot up 1 more time. or you may have to let go of the button and hit it 1 more time, but it may help your situation

Push the power button to turn it on then count to 5 then hit enter. Then count to 5 again then hit enter. Once there hit the power button with a real quick press. The power button is also the screen brightness button. Someone may have turned it all the way down. OR the back light could have gone out.
