On the right side of the phone there should be a MINI SD slot (it has a cover that says MINI sd on it .. open that up)

The smallest card in your pack is the card that goes into the phone... it goes in "upside down" with the copper teeth facing UP
Trying to put it in the other way will make it go in all crooked

Where do I insert my microSD memory card or does my computer have a slot for it?

Here are the ways for you to insert your microSD to your computer

1. Use "memory card reader" (this is probably the best way)
brymz_6.jpg
find the slot that says "micro sd" that's where youre going to insert the microSD

2. Use the internal memory card reader of your pc ( if your computer has it)
brymz_7.jpg
it is located in front of your desktop. The find the slot that says "micro sd" and insert it.

How do i get my 2gb memory card to work on my samsung e900

Hi - Sometimes devices are finicky about which SD cards they work with. I suggest you try a different brand card. Be sure to purchase it where they have an easy return policy just in case. The phone definitely supports two GB cards.
Luckily two GB cards are pretty cheap and it's always good to have a spare.
Good Luck, Mikeywaf

I want to fomat my memory

Hi Bappi,

Please follow these steps as this will only format phone memory.

1. Dial *#7370# and then it will prompt for security code of the mobile.
2. Enter the security code as 12345 which is default or code which you have set.
3. Then the phone will be restarted.

Note: This wipe all the data of you of phone including virus.

If you want to format only the memory card follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Go to Menu and extras and open memory card.
2. Press option and then sellect format memord card.

Prefered way of formating memory card is by removing it from phone.

Insert the memory card to card reader and plug it to computer.

Take a back up if necessary and then format.

Insert the memory card back to phone after formating.

This solves your isssue.

Thankyou

Wha t is a pci

Conventional PCI (part of the PCI Local Bus standard and often shortened to PCI) is a computer bus for attaching hardware devices in a computer. These devices can take either the form of an integrated circuit fitted onto the motherboard itself, called a planar device in the PCI specification, or an expansion card that fits into a slot. The name PCI is an initialism formed from Peripheral Component Interconnect. The PCI Local Bus is common in modern PCs, where it has displaced ISA and VESA Local Bus as the standard expansion bus, and it also appears in many other computer types. Despite the availability of faster interfaces such as PCI-X and PCI Express, conventional PCI remains a very common interface.

The PCI specification covers the physical size of the bus (including wire spacing), electrical characteristics, bus timing, and protocols. The specification can be purchased from the PCI Special Interest Group (PCI-SIG).

Typical PCI cards used in PCs include: network cards, sound cards, modems, extra ports such as USB or serial, TV tuner cards and disk controllers. Historically video cards were typically PCI devices, but growing bandwidth requirements soon outgrew the capabilities of PCI. PCI video cards remain available for supporting extra monitors and upgrading PCs that do not have any AGP or PCI Express slots.

Many devices traditionally provided on expansion cards are now commonly integrated onto the motherboard itself, meaning that modern PCs often have no cards fitted. However, PCI is still used for certain specialized cards, although many tasks traditionally performed by expansion cards may now be performed equally well by USB devices.

Amibios post code on a gigabyte board, 8 beeps 2 beeps 1 beep on GA-6rx board, no video output, have changed cpu, memory, video card, keyboard, hd etc, still no boot----help!

Hope this helps ... from the Ami BIOS website ....

8.2 POST BIOS Beep Codes
Number of Beeps
Description
1 Memory refresh timer error.
3 Base memory read/write test error
6 Keyboard controller BAT command failed
7 General exception error (processor exception interrupt error)
8 Display memory error (system video adapter)
8.2.1 Troubleshooting POST BIOS Beep Codes

Number of Beeps
Troubleshooting Action
1, 3 Reseat the memory, or replace with known good modules.

6, 7 Fatal error indicating a serious problem with the system. Consult your system manufacturer. Before declaring the motherboard beyond all hope, eliminate the possibility of interference by a malfunctioning add-in card. Remove all expansion cards except the video adapter.
• If beep codes are generated when all other expansion cards are absent, consult your system manufacturer’s technical support.
• If beep codes are not generated when all other expansion cards are absent, one of the add-in cards is causing the malfunction. Insert the cards back into the system one at a time until the problem happens again. This will reveal the malfunctioning card.

8 If the system video adapter is an add-in card, replace or reseat the video adapter. If the video adapter is an integrated part of the system board, the board may be faulty.

It doesnt work when i insert the card with my micro memory card and asks for a disk

Hi likkle_miss_,

The Micro adapter has no memory in it. It is just an adapter to use so you can plug your Micro SD memory card into a larger (SD) slot. The SD Micro memory card needs to be inserted into the adapter.

If it is a faulty cable you will need to replace it or have it replace under warranty if it is still eligable for that
