I am not sure exactly what type of monitor you are referring to.
But if it's a computer monitor.....

Since I do not know the specific brand and model I can not give you exact location. However there has to be a power input port some where on the back of the unit. It may even be set back up under the back end.
It is a female type port with three prongs in a roughly triangular shape.
It is identical to the power cord used on desktop computers.
It may also be that it originally came with the power cord attached internally but has been pulled out.
If you are referring to another type of monitor or you still are unable to locate it please repost with specific details regarding the make and model.
Hope this helps.

On the back of the monitor you should find three prongs that plug onto the female end of the power cord. The monitor power cord will look the same as your computer cord.

Why is my mon displays for 1 sec then turns off

Check to make sure your computer is sending a valid timing signal to the monitor. Make sure the power cord is inserted and secure. Make sure the video cable is secure (no broken/missing/bent pins) and the input source is selected correctly. Otherwise, contact ViewSonic customer support for assistance.

My screen keeps going black after a couple seconds when I try to start up my computer. I turn the monitor off and then on again and the same thing keeps happening.....for two seconds it works then nothing....

try to see if there's a menu on the screen for setting the default input source. it seems the device is not sure wich input source to take on auto dvi or vga. if it's not that there could be a problem with the power supply, if it's a separate one (a little black box with wires going to the power outlet and another one to the screen, try to replace this.

Make sure the power cords are securely connected to both the wall outlet and the back of your computer. Make sure the video cable is connected securely to the back of your computer & monitor as well. Sometimes a loose screw can be the cause.

Also make sure to press the INPUT button and make sure your video source is correct.

My computer wouldn't start and it is stuck in power saving mode. its LG flatron L1753S.

check the power cable, make sure you are using the correct video cable and input source and it may help if you try to use a different power cord that is confirmed working. if you use an adapter for it, verify that the adapter is working.

Hi, I bought my samsung 2333 syncmaster in the U.S. but moved to New Zealand where the voltage is 230, can I use the monitor with a converter plug or with a NZ compatible cord?

Samsung 2333 have switching power supply and it can work from 100-240VAC 50/60Hz with out any modification or adaptors. Feel free to use it in USA or New Zealand. You need only to arrange plug converter. Check specifications on Page 49 of 2333SW user's manual available on: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/201694/Samsung-Syncmaster-2333sw.html?page=11#manual Samsung SyncMaster 2333SW User Manual Your Monitor Initial Settings

My monitor has gone blue, what do I do

Assuming the monitor is powered (if unsure, check the that power cord is connected to a live 120 volt source and the other end is connected to the monitor), check the data (analog VGA or DVI) cable between the monitor and the computer. Make sure the connectors are firmly seated in the respective jacks, and held in place with the retaining screws where provided.

If all four connections (power in and out and the data in and out) are satisfactory, check your monitor's input "source" selection. This may be selectable via dedicated "Source" button on the monitor or from the monitor's "Menu".

When changing the source input types with the button, it will usually take a couple of seconds before an image will display, so allow enough time for the monitor to respond to the change. If changing via menu selection, it may not change until saved or exiting.

If the monitor refuses to display, it may be an issue with your video card. In this case you could try swapping the video card or the monitor to determine which is the culprit.

I hope you found this Very Helpful and good luck!

Computers has power but will not turn on monitor, fans on blue light on, yellow light constant. cd slide opens and closes normal.

First the obvious, monitor is on? Cables are connected securely to back of monitor and PC? Power cable/power adapter are all connected and plugged in? If a power adapter is used, it will feel warm.
.
I am assuming it was working on some point and then stopped.

If you are getting power to monitor and it's power light is on, then I'd suggest a problem with the video output on PC

If you are not getting power to monitor or it's light is not on, the problem is with the monitor. It may have gone out on you. Try attaching to another computer.
