I think is just the display board next to the cold control.

Yes , the main control board is bad . The display board , is not communicating with the control board . Main control board is located on the back of the refrig , behind an 8 " X 10 " panel .

My ge profile refrigerator evaporator fan motor stops while the compressor is running

this is normal as if one compartment is cold enough but not the other compartment the sealed system has a valve in the refrigerant circulation system to channel the refrigerant flow to the compartment that is calling for cooling so that fan will cease operation in the compartment thats cool enough

GE Profile stopped getting cold. Can hear motor go on and off

It seems that the starting relay is still good and the capacitor may have gone bad. Replace the capacitor.

Thermisters have gone bad causing the damper to the fresh food section not to open, and or the freezer fan motor is not working.

Fridge not cold

Check your Model # and Ser#. Probably your Motherboard and condenser fan board. No help from GE but file a complaint 1-800-386-1215. Board # GEA Part no. 200D4860G015 is junk and on every piece of internet writings this board is warranty, however, they(GE) go by the ser# of your fridge. $391 to have A&E come out a replace in 5 minutes. I would recomend working locally.

My GE profile refrigerator model #pfss2mjyc stop working. It has power and i hear the fan running.

You should be able to check whether the compressor is doing anything by removing the back panel of the cabinet, locating the compressor which will be a sealed semi-globe with obvious lines coming in and going out as well as a cable for power. Check the copper lines while it is running; you should find one hot and the other much cooler. If there is no greater difference in temperature but the compressor seems to be running, you probably need to have the coolant recharged. This isn't a DIY job since it requires knowledge and materials most don't have.
Check with your local BBB to find a reliable service company.

has a FF error shown up on your display. If so that is your freezer fan, and if not it still might be the FF motor is running to slow.

GE PROFILE FREEZER PFS 22 SISBSS

hopefully you have a service warranty. I have had me fridge for two years and have replaced the temp control panel twice thus far. serviceman coming AGAIN on Tuesday because now everything in the fridge is freezing. cna't get the temperature in freezer and refrigerator regulated properly. GE knows they have a problem...something in the computer panel board sticks. I'd give anything to be able to put this on the curb and buy a new refrigerator.
