Question about Desa International GWP20T GLOWARM Wall Mounted Panel Heater
I need a phone # so I can talk to some one about my piolet light going out on my natural gas wall heater. I checked for leaks like it told me to on the side panel of the heater, but there was no leaks. So I checked the instruction on the side panel & they told me that it needs fixed by a profestional. Who do I contact to get it repaired before winter gets here?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: heater will not stay lit
sounds like the thermocouple is going out this is the part the flame from the pilot burns on and tells the gas valve to stay open by producing a small amount of electrical current in milli-amps these can be purchased @ a good hardware store and you must position as it is when it comes out , and must be the same length , make sure to connect to gas valve clean and tight , also is there a moisture trap in the line if so you might need to turn off gas and make sure it is free of moisture , this is a good place to start with these items

SOURCE: my mr heater won't stay running
No pilot in this unit.
Check the thermocouple and its connections.
The thermocouple is the device that has the copper cable connecting it to the vave unit. It leads up into where the burner can "heat it up". This indicates to the controll valve that the gas is actually burning and keeps the valve open.

IT COULD BE THE AIR GAS MIXTURE, ALSO COULD HAVE WRONG SIZE FUEL ORFICE
The sir gas is contorled by an opening ajustment where the gas comes out of orfice. (usualy it turns to make smaller or lager opening. More or less air}

On some pilots there are small holes in the pilot tip for air to enter right about where the tip is attached to the pipe. These sometimes get clogged with dust or lint and will not let the pilot burn because it doesn't have the right fuel/air mix.
