Question about Samsung SyncMaster 150MP Monitor
This monitor (supposedly) only supports the following ranges:
Horizontal Rate (KHz) 30-70 Vertical Rate (Hz) 56-85
29.8K < 30K (although darn close).
This is usually fixed in the settings for your graphics card. Are you running Windows or Linux?
If Windows: You can load up the drivers for the monitor (I never do) or choose to hardwire the monitor to a VGA LCD 1024x768 and then even force the vertical refresh to 75Hz (or something nice). Try that.
In Linux (under Xwindows), you'll need to look at the /etc/X11/xorg.conf (if using that) and change the section for the monitor to include the limits as shown above.
Do a "man xorg.conf" for the parms. They're also on Xorg's website.
