I received a Canoscan 4400 for Christmas and it worked fine. I had some health problems and did not use it from March to June. When I tried again, my computer could not find it. I had a computer person look at it today. He changed wires, the ports, etc and came to the conclusion that it must be in the power source of the scanner. I live in Dahlonega, Ga. What can I do?
If you have extra Power Adapter for your Scanner which the same DC Current then use it. And if not bring it to your nearest Computer Center to be check. Good luck!

An image was repeatedly scanned with the Canoscan 4000f and now is always there without it being on the glass plate. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software. But to no avail. The image remains visible with every other image I scan.
