LT2000 craftman mower bolt and nut that tightens blades keep coming loose

Get some red lock tight and put it on the spindle shaft threads. Sounds like the threads are worn down and just won't hold the spindle nut tight any longer.

Are the nuts holding on the blades reverse threaded?

If a blade, when viewed from above, rotates clockwise, it will have right-handed threads. This is because the shaft is turning to the right, and the resistance imparted on the blade will tend to tighten a right-handed fastener. If a blade rotates counter-clockwise it will have a left-handed fastener. I don't know this mower, but this is a universal thing.

I need help fitting the blade belt to my MTD RH125/92 can you help i cant find the manual anywhere

This can be a tricky job. There is two 180 degree twists when fitting the belt. Viewing the deck from behiend, looking toward the front, run the belt coming from the engine around the left blade pully. Twist the belt 180 and run it at an angle to the front of the right blade pully, this is to drive the blades in opposite directions. Coming off the back of the right pully go around the tensioner pully and between the tensioner and the engine pully make another 180 degree twist. I have fitted a few of these and i have a diagram here in front of me but i cant find a way to show it to you. Hope this helps. Stephen.

I cant get the nuts off the blades on my cub cadet do you turn them l or r

Not sure on your particular mower but most all mowers are left hand threads so you would loosen like you are tightening normally. I hope that is clear to you. lol

How do you replace the belt

this is not easy you have to turn the mower on its side <make sure the carb is down > take off the blade belt guide and look at it the space is really tight and you have to hold the trans with two fingers and then walk the belt on. its hard because the trans is spring loaded to twist backwards to keep the belt tight

Husqvarna gth main belt keeps breaking

Make sure the mower rake angle is not too much,On level floor point one of the blades in a front rear orientation, measure height of blade from floor the front measurement should be no more than 1/4" lower than the rear measurement. If the front of the mower is too low the angle the belt has to run is too much and the belt will twist and wear rap[idly. To raise the front of the deck there are either one or two adjustment rods that attach the front of mower deck to frame tighten this adjustment up to raise the front of mower deck.
