Blue light is on....device not appearing on my computer

    Is this a brand new device to this machine? Are you willing to reinstall drivers & software. Have you checked control panel-system-device manager for the driver? Gave me a good rating?

It may be taking an already assigned drive letter. Click Start then right click Computer and select Manage. Scroll down to Storage heading and select Disk Management. Find the drive in the list, then right click the drive and select Change Drive Letter. Change the letter to something that is not assigned. Click OK. Your drive should appear after about 5-10 seconds.

The drivers must be up to date and written for your device. If there are no drivers, it will not communicate and thus it may look like it is working and in place, but the linkage is not there.

Western Digital My Book drive has corrupted partitioning

What does the blue blinking light at the very bottom, under the blue power button indicates?


According to the Dell 531 owners manual:

"Drive activity light-
blue light - A blinking blue light indicates the computer is reading data from or writing data to the SATA hard drive, CD, DVD or HDD."

Safe to ignore. It will blink even when the computer appears to be idle.

I have a simpletech harddirve 120 GB. Had it for about 2 years. The blue and red light usually appears and you could feel it run. Now theres no sound or moving parts and now only the red light appears. ...


An external storage-device has four major components:

* the USB cable

* the power-adapter

* the disk-drive inside the enclosure

* the USB-to-disk-drive adapter inside the enclosure.

One of these components has failed.

Try a different USB cable.

Try connecting to a different USB port on your computer.

Try connecting to a USB port on a different computer.

Take a "multi-meter" and measure both the voltage and amperage output from the AC adapter, and compare with the specifications on the label on the adapter.

Open the enclosure, and remove the disk-drive, and then connect it as a "slave" disk-drive in a desktop computer, to see if it works at all.

Purchase a new, compatible, disk-drive, and install it in the enclosure, to "revive" your external storage device.

Get the part-number and serial-number from the label on your disk-drive, and access the manufacturer's web-site, and use "check warranty status", to see if they will replace the device, at minimal cost to you.

Note that W.D. has a "Customer Loyalty" program -- you can buy a new W.D. device, through the W.D. web-site, at a significant discount.

Both blue & red lights were on. I held the button until it powererd down. Hold again until the blue light flashes 5 times but now the blue light stays on. Can't seem to get it to function. Any tips...


Your headset will automatically go to pairing mode if it is turned on without having paired to other devices before. The pairing mode is indicated by the steady blue light. To pair your headset whilst it is in pairing mode, make the other device's bluetooth application (e.g. phone, computer, etc.) search for new devices. After a while, the WEP850 will appear on the device's screen. Select it there, and make it connect. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). The pairing process between any two bluetooth enabled devices should be performed just once. All subsequent connections should be achieved just by bring them both within each other's range. Otherwise, a simple press on the headset's talk.button should suffice.

I need help connecting my blue tooth to my phone device


Hello

If you are referring to connecting your pone to your blue tooth device(dongle pluged into your computer?), you activate the blue tooth on your phone, plug the device into youre computer and right click on the blue tooth icon in the bottom right corner which will appear after a few seconds.

Click on ad device, your device will then search for other blue tooth devices.
Your phone must then appear.
double click on your phone, then you will be asked to enter a password. Enter anything and then next.
Your phone should now ask for a password then enter it.

Now the devices are paired.

Now just use the send via Blue Tooth function.

Hello my friend, regarding your problem do you have installed program or driver software lately before this blue screen appear? i guess the problem here is more on the memory dumping of your computer. either the latest installed software is not functioning will or  u have a memory device problem either to much heat or cause by some circuit problem that made the memory device problematic. the worst case here is to replace memory but for now try to check first if the memory is running well and stay in its standard cooling temperature. Or you can reprogram your computer.

Wireless network card


Hi there.
The wireless switch on the front bottom of the laptop, it's suppose to be blue when the button is on the right.
Right click on computer and select manage, go to device manager, and go to Network Adapters, try to see a network adapter called Broadcom, if it doesn't appear, it means that your computer doesn't recognize the wireless card and you may have to reinstall the drivers.

Cannot get S9 to connect to phone or computer


From Falvey86: Hold the headset start button for about 10 to 20 seconds, the lights will start flashing red and blue, then the search for Bluetooth devices from phone and it will appear as: S9. press "connect", a window will appear, place the password "0000", that should do the trick!!!!

Cant get the microscope lights to come on


I have the same microscope, I ordered the actual disk from digital blue, was like 5 bux plus shipping, flee bay has em for 10 bux, the down loaded ones off internet are just drivers so your pc only can see
the device.
