Use an older keyboard on a newer computer? My wife likes the feel of the old one.

why not buy a real keyboard. for USB?
vast types, even for $8.
hp what you never side what HP puter.??
hp made them for 33 years, 1984 to now.
my guess newer HP, like 10 years or newer
and has USB ports
then you found a USB to PS/2 adaptor (vast types exist)
but many dont work. right.
btw this is classic failure from 1999 to to now.
endless posts world wide,,,
the trouble is the PS2 keyboard, send commands very different that USB does.
Try this go to bios and turn on legacy USB>
maybe it can see he keyboad at boot (bios sees t first)
then BIOS passes this discovery to windows 10..
ive not touched or seen a PS2 keyboard, in years.
like year 2000?> 18 long years ago.
im old. worked them all.
PS/2 >>>>>adaptor >>>> USB modern system.
the adaptor must do 2 things, send power correctly to the KBD.
then translate PS/2 sings to USB sigs.
then BIOS needs to understand plug and play IDs from PS2
if missing IDs, or garbled, its born dead.

good luck there.
btw your pc is not PS2 certified so....

22.1:10 system error

Fault code:IDS right unit faulty...
Location: Remove left cover, you can observe the unit where we insert ink cartridges.
IDS:Ink Delivery system: This unit contains two individual units called as right & left units with respective DC motors... Each unit maintains three ink cartridges to push the inks to print heads through ink tubes.
How to shoot the problem: The easy method is to replace IDS unit (well known as Ink supply station).its costly affair.
For tech guys only: Remove left cover, disconnect IDS cable from electronic module, remove screws, take out IDS, remove both motors. Now rotate manually both pumping shafts, you can observe the right shaft harder then left, result motor unable to run the unit as same as left unit. Now follow the snap shots lubricate as shown in movie, once its done perform IDS test through diagnostic test.(entering in diagnostic mode:shut down the unit using the power button through control panel, hold UP & OK button power on, wait till printer enters in to the mode, scroll to diagnostic test & utilities, scroll to Ids test. if its passed you are succeeded or else try once again the same process. Pl don't do this R & D if you are not confident..This is my experience try it.. Best of luck

Dear Sir I have an error with my HP Desighnjet T1100ps error 20.0:10

Tech Guys only:
Remove all cartridges, remove left side cover, disconnect IDS connectivity, take out IDS( Ink delivery system know as ISS). this unit contains two compartments left unit drives 0,1&2 cartridges and right unit drives 3,4&5 cartridges.. Remove both IDS driving motors, rotate manually & observe the driving shaft of the both units & find out which was hard. Each unit contains three individual compartments & fixed together. Some cases these compartments are lost their alignment while transport or usage results 20.X.XX error will appears. To shoot out this problem, adjust aliment carefully verify shaft smoothness & apply grease. Fix motors back check once again fix entire things.. It will solve you problem..
The reason behind error is if any one of the shaft having hard movement, motor crying to rotate the shaft result time mismatch between both units. Understand the issue.. think,, and do... best of luck..

I get a failure notice saying the recipient is blacklisted when im trying to send mail only to a particular id from my main yahoo account. But i can send from other ids and accounts .

Each Yahoo ID can create a "black-list", i.e., a list of E-mail IDs that you do NOT want to be allowed to send E-mail TO you.

If you switch to a different account, you will switch to a different "black-list", and the E-mail can be sent.

So, switch to the acccount that has the "black-listed" ID, and view the "black-list" for that account.
Remove that ID from that account's "black-list".

First of all, I hate to say this but, be sure you are using a genuine HP 02 black cartridge. Refilled / re-manufactured cartridges can cause damage to the printheads because their formulas are sometimes too acidic.1) Press the SETUP button on the front panel by the display. 2) press the DOWN arrow until "Tools" is highlighted on the display and then press the OK button 3) Arrow down again until you see "Clean Printheads" and press OK again. 3) After cleaning, press Setup again.. Arrow down to "Print Report" and press OK. 4) Arrow down to "Self-test Report and hit OK again. Your printer will print out another page. If the black ink is flowing on the self-test page but yet not when u are using the computer, then there's got to be some software problem on the computer itslelf. If it still doesn't print from the black printhead the we usually have either a print head failure or an IDS (Ink Delivery System) failure.

IDS failure, call HP message comes up

Hope this helps you. This error is caused by either a correct or incorrect detection of air in the manifold. The steps below will clear the error condition, which should solve the problem if it is caused by an incorrect detection of air. If there really is air in the manifold, however, this procedure will not solve the problem and the printer will have to be serviced. Step 1 - Remove all printheads CAUTION: Do not touch the printhead tower. Do not remove the printhead handle. Keep printheads out of the reach of children. Figure 1: HP 14 printhead c00042423.jpg 1 - Handle 2 - Tower
  1. Make sure the unit is plugged in and the power is turned on.
  2. Open the print carriage access door by lifting the handle until the door locks in place. The print carriage moves to the center.
  3. Wait two or three seconds, then unplug the power cord.
  4. Open the printhead latch. See the illustration below. Figure 2: Open the printhead latch c00042424.jpg
  5. Remove each problem printhead by lifting the printhead handle and pulling up. See the illustration below. Figure 3: Remove the printhead c00042425.jpg
Step 2 - Reset the internal error state NOTE: This step must be performed before the printheads are re-installed.
  1. Close the printhead chute.
  2. Close the access door.
  3. Plug the power cord back in.
  4. Turn on the power. The front panel should read No Printhead. Will damage Product. Insert [color name] [icon] printhead now . NOTE: The carriage may make a grinding noise when you turn the power on. This noise is normal.
  5. Open the print carriage access door by lifting the handle until the door locks in place. The print carriage moves to the center.
  6. Wait two or three seconds, then unplug the power cord.
  7. Open the printhead latch.
Before re-inserting the printheads, make sure all the electrical contacts have had at least five minutes to dry. Step 3 - Insert the printheads
  1. Place each printhead in its slot in the printhead carriage. The colored shape on the top of the printhead should match the colored shape on the proper slot on the printhead carriage.
  2. Press down firmly and evenly on both the front and back of the printhead, as shown in the illustration below. Proper seating is essential to making good electrical contact.
Figure 4: Seat the printhead c00042431.jpg Step 4 - Close and check the printer
  1. Close the printhead carriage latch and make sure the loops catch the hooks. See the illustration below. Figure 5: Loops catch hooks c00042432.jpg
  2. Snap the latch into place.
  3. Plug in the power cord.
  4. Close the print carriage access door.
  5. Turn on the power.
  6. If the error clears, a message to align the printheads may appear on the HP Officejet D and HP Officejet 7100. Press Enter to align. If the error persists contact HP. Printhead replacement will not resolve this problem - the printer will have to be serviced.

New printheads and cartridges but not printing only blank sheets

IDS (Ink Delivery System) failure is not related to the print heads at all. It pertains to that delivery system that lies between the Print head and the Ink Tank. Its a Hardware Issue, some ttime it gets fixed by resetting the printer.

Follow the below steps.

POWER DRAIN:-Turn off the printer, Unplug the power cable from printer and from the wall outlet.Press and hold ON buton for 30-60 seconds.

PARTIAL RESET:-Unplug the printer power cable while its ON, press and hold # and 3 button and connect the Power cord while holding.Wait untill the ON light flashes, then release the buttons.

----(for below reset cartridges must be removed out)---------

SEMI_FULL RESET:-Unplug the printer power cable while its ON, press and hold # and 6 button and connect the Power cord while holding.Wait untill the ON light flashes,or wait for 20 seconds, hen release the button. If the printer goes off dont worry release the button and Push the ON button.

FULL NVM RESET:-Take the Ink Cartridges out, Unplug the printer power cable while its ON, press and hold OK/ENTER button and CANCEL button and connect the Power cord while holding the buttons.keep Holding the buttons until the printer goes off ,release the button and Push the ON button.

(Notes - resets will take a while)
