Having no experience with that particular model,I would recommend putting it in place and using a straight edge [or 'eyeball'] verify alignment with rear sprocket.

I have a crf 450 with no spark new stator and coil plus have tryed a second hand cdi unit

Hi, Gladys_rober and the usual suspects are:
1. Fouled spark plugs.
2. Severely discharged or a damaged battery should have 12.5 volts or more and be able to pass a proper "LOAD" test if necessary, you may have a preliminary reading of 12.5 volts or more but little or zero amperage the battery is faulty and must be replaced, AGM batteries fail in this scenario more so than lead acid batteries.
3. Check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
4. Loose connection at ignition coil or plug between ignition sensor and module.
5. Spark plug cables in bad condition, shorting/leaking, spark plug cable connections loose check for spark leakage in the dark.
6. Faulty ignition coil or electronic control module.
7. Faulty CKP, CMP, or BAS sensor.
8. Faulty ignition switch.
9. Tilt sensor needs a reset.
10. Security alarm failing to disarm needs reset

Installing cam chain on 09 CRF 450. It seems that I don't enough slack in the cam chain to fit it around the camshaft sprocket.

check that the new cam chain is roughly the same length as the old one, ensure that it is properly installed on the bottom (crank) sprocket, make sure that your tensioner is backed off fully, even after all of this you will still find that the chain seems too short, tip the cam to the left side of the engine & your chain should slip on..double check your cam timing with cam cap snugged down & tensioner released.

Which side is which for an oil change guy's

Two oils?. Four strokes only need one . A good grade oil designed for wet clutches. Get some from your dealer. the wrong oil will cause clutch problems. Mainly slippage and not diengageing. Good Luck Mate. The engine and trans oil are the same oil. The oil fill should be the side opposit the sprocket and chain

Have the dealer replace the worn chain. On this new of a bike I think the chain may be okay. Ask the dealer if you are adjusting the chain properly.
