Question about RCA Televison & Video
I have a RCA Colortrac Model G26261TN, made July 1998. It was recently given to me. It will play a DVD fine most of the time. Sometimes it won't go to channel 91 so I can play a DVD. I have a amplified antenna instead of cable (my old TV got 4 channels in good). When I go to put it on a channel, sometimes it will come in and other times it won't. Other times it will come in for a time and then go totally off air. I get nothing. I know it has good picture and sound because it plays the DVD's. I don't have the original remote. What do you suggest? I'd appreciate any advice you can give me. Thanks. Lisa

Since the you were vacuuming behind the set before this happened, I'm going to assume that you unplugged an input. Check the wiring, not just on the back of the set, but, on the back of the peripherals (DVD, Satelite, cable box, etc.) If wires are connected, then, take a component, such as a VCR or cable box and hook it up to the RF connector (AKA the cable connector) and run it on channel 3 or 4. If you have sound, then, you have a configuration problem and need to rewire your set. Hope this helps.

Do in your menu have like VCR or DVD in the option area? If so then put on vcr or dvd. Also you can look for the channel in the add or erase area and move past the channel 2 by going the other way and see if the aux or video1 comes on then simply chose it.
