Question about Dryers

Hello my name is Mike, I have a GE

Hello my name is Mike, I have a GE DBL333EB3WW and it does not dry anymore. I am about to take the back off to change the heating element but I can not figure out how it comes off. Do I have to take the 3 screws on the inside of the drum out before I can remove the element?

The link below describes disassembly of the dryer you have . You will notice that the manual is for Westinghouse and Frigidaire. GE must have had some made for them also. Circuit diagrams and control panel appearance may not be exactly the same but disassembly will be.

The disassembly section begins at page 61.

Water leaking from washer bottle

Hello,
My name is Mike.
I read your problem. If your talking about your windshield washer bottle. Then to save some money, you can take it out, and seal the leak if you know where the leak is coming from. At Home Depot in there construction area or plumbing area, they make epoxy that you can mix up and put on the area where it is leaking, and let it dry until hard, and put back in and good as new. Plan b would be checking your local junk yard or u-pull it places to see if they have one for your model. These are the ways to save some money. This will save a lot of money from cost of new one from dealer.
Please rate this accordingly if this has helped you. Mike mc1bean_2.png

Stove top burner keeps on clicking

Hello, your problem is going to be 1 of 2 problems, 1st did you spill liquid on the switch? if so the switch has shorted out, unplug the appliance for 24 hours to dry the switch out then plug it back in...if after 24 hours it is still clicking you have a bad switch (these are the burner knobs) check each one with a ohms meter, the one that is bad will read infinite on your ohms meter when it is switched off. If you have any other questions please feel free to comment. Good Luck!! Mike

Water leaking out of the bottom of my ge refrigerator.is there a tray that I need to empty? cannot locate one.

Hello, this sounds like you have a blockage in the drain tube, remove panel back/bottom of freezer..you may see ice build up...melt ice with hair dryer/heat gun...you will see a pan below evaporator...melt ice in pan...dry water up in pan with paper towel...now you should see a hole in pan that leads to drain tube...pour some hot water in pan..wait a couple minutes..mop up water and repeat this step 2-3 times....once you have done this find some flexible curatain wire or electrical wire..poke down the hole until you see the water drain..now it is clear..put back panel back and you are good to go. The reason you see water in the fridge is because the water has been leaking into the freezer and down the vent into the fridge instead of running into the drain hole...Please feel free to comment again if you need any further assistance. there is a blower wheel that move the moist heat air out,i think you have a clogg on the dryer vent side or the wall vent side, they need to be cleared or the dryer holds the moist hot air in the dryer and takes forever to dry,let me know how you do--mike
