If the screen comes on for a few seconds and then goes to sleep mode you probably have not installed the drivers for the new video card correctly. you should shut down computer, replace the new card with the old one, put in the disk with the drivers for the new card, install the new drivers and then shutdn and replace the old with the new and reboot. this should solve the problem. please rate me and thanks for choosing enterprise computing solutions..

Hello,

From the research that I have done, you should be able to upgrade with no problem. I would suggest upgrading your RAM to make things run smoother. Good Luck

Sony Vaio VGN-N250E/W Not Booting/Responding

Take the battery and power supply out and hold down the power button for 30 seconds. This will reset your hardware settings. Your backup battery isnt your problem. Does your battery light turn on when charging? Does your keyboard lights light up when it runs for a second (try pressing caps lock)?

POWER ISSUES? OR MOTHER BOARD......

IT WAS THE POWER SUPPLY. AS SOON AS I PUT A NEW UNIT IN, IT BOOTED RIGHT UP... NO PROBLEMS YET AND IT'S BEEN ABOUT 20 HOURS. I WAS TOLD THAT A POWER UNIT WILL DO THAT BEFORE IT GOES FOR GOOD(ALONG WITH *********** BOARD)....
