If you have never done any Gun Repair, Take it in and have it looked at by a reputable gunsmith. A Firearm is nothing you would want to take any chances with.

Hood latch broken

You will need a needle nose pliers. Find the cable where it broke away from the plastic handle. Grip it and pull towards you. If you cannot easily get it to move you may use a stiff board and prop it in place in the area near the pliers and then work the pliers against the board in a prying, lever action motion while gripping hard so it doesn't slip.

The wire that goes from the on/off switch on the tiller handle broke off at the tiller side. Where does it re-attach to? I have to push the choke lever to the on position when its running to get it to stop...

The wire that runs the length of the handle and terminates at the engine is attached to a spade or bullet connector that is attached at the magnetto (spark plug wire comes from the magnetto). if it jus broke off you should be able to see where it attaches on the connector.

My daughter undid the quick release on her front brake for her astral 1.0 bike and cannot put it back. Can you explain how to hook up the brakes once the front tire is back on??

The cable runs through a bent piece of aluminum tubing called a noodle. At the end of the noodle is a piece that looks like the business end of a bullet. You need to squeeze the two brake pad levers and insert the bullet on top of the cable catch.

well your lad did not! *** him!! wip the screw out the side for the under leaver half open the bolt and pull the under leaver down and out the gun, then pull the bolt out the rear end,,you may see what he has *ucked up in there,,,the side loading door is held on be a small screw if you drop the side door into the gun you will need to strip out the loading leaver as well to put it right,,,so dont do that!,,, let the side door screw off just a little and put the door in the right place then nip up the screw,, dont strip it!!! then slide the dolt half way into the rifle and push the loading under leaver back into the bolt,, put the under leaver screw back in and close the bolt with the leaver,,,if its not closing its in wrong again,,,rember you need to engage the leaver in the bolt before you can close the bolt,, if its not picking up the rounds its the lifting arm,,,thats a man size job look on the net for the blow up photos,,,but you may well need some expert help then,,,im not there but if i was i could strip it in my sleep? but go to googel,, and type in "marlin rifles"
