The unit is low on freon, this makes the unit work harder than its made to. I would guess around 2 to 3 pounds. You will need to call a heating and air company in your area.

Armana APN14K-E portable AC freezes up

Lack of air flow or a lack of refrigerant are the two primary reasons why coils freeze. Clean the filter and the coil, if frost continues it is likely low on refrigerant.

Dometic AC cycles on and off

sounds like you don't have enough of a charge in the system of "free-on". that would make the a/c cycle and cycle to try and keep the pressure up and would also contribute to the lines frosting and freezing

Sounds like the contactor in the condensing unit is stuck. That is why it will not turn off when the thermostat is satisfied. If the inside air handler is not blowing and the outside condensing unit is running, then this will cause the inside coils to freeze up rather quickly.
The contactor is located in the outside condensing uni in the electrical compartment.
If it is sticking it will need to be replaced.

My window ac unit keeps cycling off, before it gets to the assigned temperature. Help

What may be at issue is evaporator icing. Some units cycle the compressor, others control the refrigerant to keep the evaporator temp just above freezing. If allowed to continue the evaporator would freeze over and air flow would stop....
Check and see if that is the case...

Why does my one pipe freeze when I run the ac and does not seem to cool very well

If the return line is freezing, as you describe, it typically means that you aren't getting enough air across the expansion coil, causing a large block of ice to build up inside.
Once that happens, you'll always get ice on the return line.
Try cleaning the filter or whatever the AC uses to keep the air clean.

My AC keeps freezing. Condenser pipes freezes all the time and the repair men just keeps adding freon. What is the problem?

Hello MCOMSTI You have a freon leak that MUST be found & repiared so the system will keep the charge.A fast leak is eaiser to find, look for a oil/grease stain anywhere on the system, when you loose 1/2 system charge you make ice.
