Try resetting the device it?s usually a small pinhole on the back or side of the device try holding that in for about 10 seconds Try reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilities from the manufacturer?s website. Make sure that you back your music up first because when you do this you are setting it back to factory settings.

REPAIR MP3?

Hello - doesn't anyone listen. Connect the player to your computer, and open the Philips Device Manager, and run a repair.

Disconnect the Go Gear from computer. Press the reset pinhole until the player turns off. Hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard. If this pop-up does not appear, reset the player again WHILE connected to the computer. Open the Philips Device Manager, and go to Repair Tab. Reset the player one more time while connected to computer. Follow the repair instructions.

Hey

It is easier to reformat the mp3 player. When the mp3 is plugged in to the PC, go to my computer, the double click the mp3 player there. You will see internal storage, right click that and click format. You will lose all the stuff on the mp3 player.

Player does not play

Hi, I had the same problem, MiMusic wouldn`t even recognise there was a disk connected although I could see it in My Computer.Found the answer on internet.
Attach it to your p.c. Then go to My Computer and highlight it. Right Click it and a box will appear . Go to FORMAT and format it. Another box will appear and ask if you really want to do it as data will be lost. Answer YES. Then format it. Disconnect from your p.c. Turn it on and you will be able to access the menu facility. Follow the instructions and goto CREATE LIB, BEFORE you put any music on to the thing.
I found it created library as soon as I disconnected it. BACK UP anything you have on it first as it will be wiped. It is working perfectly now and MiMusic is too. Yippee. Pat.

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

T.sonic cannot operate after it was formatted in Windows
Formatting T.sonic using the “Quick Format” or “Full Format” option in Windows destroys the
default format of the T.sonic. To retrieve the default format, you must link to

Sorry, as far as i know you can't, you nead to reset: 1. Recharge the product by connecting to the pc (pc must be running). 2. Press the reset button using a sharp tool. Wait 10 minutes then connect the player and pc. (The reset button is between the FUNC and MODE buttons.) 3. Turn the player off and press the mode button while making the player and pc connection. 4. The message ¡°USB Connected¡± displays when turning the player on. 5. Disconnect the player and pc. 6. Connect the player and pc after turning off the player. The player is charged in about 2 hours if the player is off. 7. Upgrade to the latest firmware (Ver. 1.11 or higher).
