Question about Dual Presidian DVD Recorder
I HAVE A 4 YEAR OLD PRESIDIAN DVD/RECORDER. I CAN PLAY DVDS, AND CAN RECORD FROM VHS TAPES. I CANNOT RECORD PROGRAMS FROM MY TV. I HAVE HD TV RECEPTION THROUGH A "CONVERTER BOX" WOULD THE HD BOX BE THE OBSTACLE TO RECORDING FROM TV?

If it won't PLAY VHS tapes it must have a serious mechanical problem (if it even loads) or its heads are glommed up, so it obviously won't record them either. When's the last time you ran a cleaning tape through it?
