Removing rear interior panals

Remove one Phillips screw from leading edge of door panel (near latch). Remove small cap behind the door handle, inside another Phillips screw - remove screw and then the cup behind the handle. Look down in arm rest and there is another Phillips screw. Last screw is behind the approximately 1 1/2 inch plug on front upper corner of panel. At this point, gently pry around lower edge and sides - there are either five or six clips pressed into the door frame. Once all are disengaged, gently swing the bottom of the panel out and lift off the top edge of door next to window opening. Once panel is off door, gently remove the control plug from the door lock/window control on the rear of panel. Install in reverse order
hope this helps

How do I take the door panels off

the interior door panels? for the most part the panels are of simple design, they sorta just 'pop' on and off, they are held on with plastic screws attached thru the metal interior of the door. start with the end closest to the outside edge of the door and with a plastic 'pop tool' (i forget the exact name for them but they are for removing headlights and skid plate bolts without damaging metal) or even a flat head screw driver with a folded shop towel over the edge to prevent damage to either panel, gently work under the panel all along the side. it should work loose in short order without much fuss, from there you can see the other panel screws and work around handles/manual window cranks.

I have noticed blue mold in my basement coming from behind the area that has wood paneling, but also around the entire edge of the floor even where the walls are concrete (both interior and exterior...

This mold is from dampness in the basement.

Often this is a result of no vapor barrier installed when the insulation is put into the walls. Moisture is allowed to seep through the walls and gets into anything, even concrete.

The other problem may be from a lack of weeping tiles outside the house.

When the contractor formed the foundation walls, he was supposed to install weeping tiles to keep moisture out from outside.

Most older houses don't have this, and I'm seeing it more and more.

I would advise contacting a general contractor and getting some advice from them. You may have to have weeping tiles installed, which consists of tearing up the ground around the foundation to do so.

Then you may have to remove the flooring and wall panels as well as the drywall to install a vapor barrier.

Good luck.

How do you get the driver's door latch out past the window guide?

Remove all screws around the outer edge of the door panel. Carefully pry off the decorative cover behind the door handle and remove the torix screw. Lift up firmly on the door panel to remove. To reinstall, line up molded plastic hooks on back of door panel with notches in the door, push down to secure, reinstall torix screw, decorative cover and screws.
Also before you lift away the panel, you'll need to undo the electrical connectors for the power window and door locks

It is best to get the whole power window regulator assembly from the junkyard, which includes the power window motor. Cost should be no more than $40. Remove interior door trim panel by removing all screws and pulling up on the door panel. Unbolt existing window regulator assembly and slide guides from aluminum window track (you will have to uncrimp one end of track). Installation is the reverse of removal (remember to recrimp aluminum window track after reassembly). I did this repair in 45 minutes, power window worked like new. Good Luck!

How do you install the drivers side window in a 1994 Jeep Cherokee Sport? Already removed interior door panel, bottom window molding, and screw & washer from regulator, Can't understand how to get...

Most door glass slides in from the top **** in the door. Sometimes the window seal around the window frame may have to come out and can be re-installed after you secure the glass to the track. You may have to insert the glass at an odd angle to fit it thru. Be sure to have the door panel off so you can access the track screws(bolts) and make sure you do or don't have to bond it with adhisive. A great bonding agent for this is gorilla glue, tested and still working on my friends 93grand cherokee. Good luck.

How do you remove interior door handle form 1993 Ford Tercer The window won't roll up and I can't get the handle off to get the panel off to get to the window tract

It's easy!

  1. Remove triangle-shaped plastic cover Fwd of door window - gently pry it off

  2. Remove screw from the plastic cover behind door open lever

  3. Remove door lock plunger. (unscrew)

  4. Remove screws down inside the door pull hand-hold area

  5. Look for other phillips screws - sometimes around the lower 1/2

  6. Pry hidden plastic hold down fasteners from around the edge - pull the panel away from the door and where you see it 'stuck' to the door, slide a pry tool, a stiff putty knife works well, up in that area and pop the fastener off.

  7. Lift door liner enough to get to the mirror power connector and unplug.

  8. For some model years, with door panel loose, you can access the bolts / screws that hold the interior trim piece in place and remove.

  9. Remove Mylar cover for access to 3 Mirror mount studs, speaker screws, door lock actuators, window motors, etc.

  10. Remove nuts, (hold the mirror up from outside) and remove mirror. (Feed electrical harness through door openings as required to facilitate removal.

  11. Reverse order for installation.

How do i install body welt (molding around driver's side door)

if youre talking about the rubber that seals the door to the car when its closed, you just push that ****** on, and it slides neatly into place. its pretty straightforward. Sometimes it can be a pain to get to stay in place, but after a few days, it shoul conform to the plastic interior panels and stay in place.

is that what you were talking about?
