The Advent MP82 is NOT compatible with SDHC cards. You are limited to SD cards 1GB and smaller.

Canon A590 battery problem, low life, won't work with good batts

I had this problemt too. I cleaned the contacts with rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab, then replaced the batteries with Duracell (not the cheaper Sunbeams I had been using). This worked like a charm.

Advent MP82 Didital camera.

Take out the current battery, leave it out for twenty four hours and hopefully the camera will reset. If not, there may be a reset option available - look in the manual

Battery pack

I don't know if this will work but it worked for my PowerShot A300.

Take a pencil eraser and clean the battery connections inside your camera. Just be sure not to let any eraser flakes inside the camera.

The Canon rep indicated it would work for the A300 ... Not sure why it wouldn't work with yours as well.

Good luck.

My kodak easyshare cx7330 camera wont turn on how do i fix it

USE ONLY LITHIUM BATTERIES.

Alkaline batteries don't last long and often can't supply sufficient power on start-up... even when they are new!

Lithium batts cost more, but they last way longer than the equivalent $ value of alkaline batts.

Everything else works but will not take picture

Whilst there may be another fault, replacing the battery cover is a good start and you need to eliminate all possible causes.

These cameras also only reliably run on Lithium batteries.

I've seen many sets of fresh alkaline batts not work, even though they show full power.

Lithiums are more expensive, but they last much longer than several sets of alkalines, which ends up being far greater $ value and you are not constantly changing batts.

Worth a try.
