I'm trying to copy songs onto a 2GB sandisk mini SD chip to load into my LG CU500 phone. The first problem I get is that it will only load 549MB of songs onto the disk. Windows reports there is 1.35GB of space remaining, yet when I try and copy onemore song, I get a "disk full" error message.
Then when I insert the chip in my phone I get the "not ready" error message.
Any help would be appreciated especially on the second problem. It's no good having a disk full of songs that won't play.
Ok heres the thing i have the lg cu500 as u do and this phone can only take 1 gb tops.

Sounds like a fake chip - did it come from Ebay? Try to verify the chip's authenticity, there are some guides on ebay that show what to look for on the packaging and on the chip itself.
