There are adjusting screws on the carburetor they will be screws with a spring on it ... try slightly adjusting them ... if your choking it then turn the screws out a little this will make it run richer. Btw 1 screw is idle screw the other is high rpm ... looking at the screws the one on the left should be the idle screw ... if you have documentation there may be instructions for this ... good luck

I drive a 1989 Volo 740 2.3L turbo, and while I am driving the engine will die out. If I flutter the gas peddle sometimes I can keep the car going. I changed the fuel filter, the prime pump in the tank,...

Usually- the turbo's wastegate gets stuck from the heat/corrosion. A couple shots of pen oil I recomend PB BLASTER- (non flammable). Actuate the lever manually- with the engine WARM- NOT HOT OR COLD!! If the wastgate is frozen- its plugging and choking the exhaust.

I have a 1987 dodge ram 50, it has a 2 barrel carb... i cant keep it running i think it is the carburetor because if i wire the choke down it will kinda run, but as soon as the choke is let off it cuts...

The choke is there to cut off the air supply and pull in more fuel when it is cold. You have to repair the choke or put a manual choke on it. the warmer the engine gets , the more the choke opens up.

J.D snowmobile 340 73 carb wont idle appears internally clean.

I would have your compression tested, if its a two stroke, and you can use tools with out breaking things or yourself, pour a cup of fuel down the left hand side of the carb and take the right hand side of the carb off and crank it like mad, if fuel leaks from there you better get to a repairer.

other wise the idle adjuster is usually on the left hand side where the accelerator linkages are, it will be a screw where the linkage touches when the throttle is closed. not too hard to find if you have a light source.

Hope this helps.

If you want any more help just ask :)
