I downloaded a new os from TI's website. So I went to install it. Everything was going fine but when it finished the computer gave a failed notice, and the calculator is frozen on the software installation screen and says "waiting to receive"...The usb recognizes my calculator but status is not detectable SO therefore I can't reinstall the os or even restore my calculator.

- here is my problem. The installation is over. Has been over for several days. But that installation screen is still stuck on my calulator. When it was installing the calculator went all the way to 99% and then stopped. I have tried taking out the batteries and all that good stuff. The main problem is I can't use TI connect to put a new OS on my calculator. Because it detects my calcualtor but its status is not detectable therefore it won't allow me to do anything throw ti connect or anything else as far as I know
Hello, I suggest you interrupt the installation with [Esc] or [Diamond][QUIT].
Then download the OS on your computer and drag and drop OS on the open
window of TI Connect to transfer it to calculator. Press the
[Diamond][QUIT] several times. If it refuses, all that is left for you
to do is remove main batteries and restart the installation as
described above. Hope it helps.

- Here is additional info from the TI kmowlege base
For the TI-89 Family, TI-92 Family, and Voyage™ 200: Try a new set of AAA batteries (AA batteries on the TI-92 Family).
Adjust the contrast by pressing and releasing the Diamond key followed by pressing and releasing the [+] key; repeat as necessary. To adjust or lighten the display, use the [-] key.
Users of the TI-89 Titanium or Voyage 200 should see the following case before performing the following reset procedure to prevent the loss of valuable Apps. On the TI-92 family or Voyage 200, hold the [2nd] key and the [hand] key, then press and release the [ON] key. On the TI-89 family, press and hold the [2nd] key, left arrow, and right arrow; then press and release the [ON] key. This should reinitialize the operating system, in which you should see a progress bar filling on the screen.
Remove one of the AAA or AA batteries. Press and hold the [APPS] key, and while holding the [APPS] key, replace the battery and turn the unit on. TI-89, 92 Plus, or Voyage 200 users should see "Press I to install code...", and should press the [9] key. The calculator should then say, "Waiting to receive...". TI-89 Titanium users should see "Waiting to receive..." or "Waiting to received OS...". You will need to restore the calculator's operating system.
