How to turn the flash on dc-st210-vp and what all the do all those colored objects(camera,the stars, the green portion graph,and the numbers 50 and 60,also HQ ) in the options menu on the camera represent.Maybee could you point me in the right direction for an online manual.

Tip: The max point reward for answering a question is 15.
Try connecting with USB to your computer and see if the camera is detected by windows in "My Computer". Most newer operating systems/computers will detect the camera.
Another option is to use a flash card reader to transfer files. This is my preferred method. It doesn't use camera battery and I have a second flash card ready to go while the other is transferring files.
My girlfirend just got me this camera and I've noticed that it takes fine pictures when the lighting is good. Under low light (i.e. underwater or in the dark) it's not so hot. I don't think there is a fix for that.
