Most likely yes. Get a good adhesive for it though and make sure it is dry before you close the door and before you use it.

When you ask for the manual always include the full model number(e.g.WTMC332SUS ). There are different Nexxt 500 models.

It may be the dryer belt. When it breaks, there is a switch near the tension arm and wheel that engages. It shuts down the motor. If it is the belt, when you replace it be sure to reset the switch. Good luck.

You have done a good job of isolating the noise. Sounds like you will have to replace your drive motor. Very likely a mechanical problem in your motor, that is not going to fix itself. If you continue to run your dryer with the noise coming from your motor, you run the risk of the motor burning out electrically and causing a fire or a shock hazard. It is unlikely that this will happen, but it is possible and thereby not worth the risk of getting shocked or having a fire. if you use fabric softener sheet,there is two small metal chrome stip take a wet rag clean them off,they are locate on the in side of dry drum close to dry grill on inside,those sheet can leave a film on those stip are your sensor for the auto cycle on the dryer

yes ,it is possible,you don't require a kit from bosch,however,you will need to disassemble the machine.if you are not confident,get someone who is.

The noise could be your drum rollers need lubricant or replacement.
When the drum rollers get flat spots on them they will make a bumping/thumping type of noise.
The grinding noise sounds to me like the drum rollers are in need of lubrication.

during transport there are fittings installed to prevent damage to the machine. The shaft may have got bent but before panic sets in try to check 1. that there is a gap between the mahine and units
2. that the unit is leveled.
