Your refrig will most likely run continuously for the first 12- 18 hours as long as your seeing temp drop dont worry about it..

sounds like it went in to defrost after you plugged it up , if it doesn't come out of defrost after being plugged up for 30min then you need to replace the defrost control which will most likely repair your defrost problem as well

Whirlpool stopped blowing cool air. Unplugged

It sounds as if your defrost timer has failed. Unplugging the unit over night allowed the unit to defrost. If unplugging it overnight or by using a stnd fan blowing into the freezer section for 90 minutes results in the fan blowing cold air then your unit is not defrosting. Most often the defrost timer is the problem. However there could be other defrost circuit like the thermostat or the defrost element. In order to provide you with the correct solution and defrost timer location you should privde your model number for further instructions.

Compressor & Evap. Fan both work for 12 hours then evap stops

I believe that because defrost is done by the mother control board this is why this is happening the part of the board that controls defrost is malfunctioning and the only way to resolve the problem is to replace the mother board part number WR55X10656 You can find the replacement board at these places below. The defrost timer will turn off the compressor and its cooling fan. At the same time it turns on the defrost heater, and usually leaves the freezer fan running. Defrost can take half an hour, easy. As soon as the defrost thermostat is satisfied, the defrost heater is supposed to turn off, and the compressor may come back on. The defrost timer is about the size of a cell phone, with about five wires going to it in a plug. It has a small dial on it that only goes one way. You can mark it and wait a half hour to see if it moves.

Refrigerator buzzing for 10 seconds every 4 or 5 minutes

Buzzing is usually a fan, like one in the freezer, or back bottom - for cooling the freon. The compressor over-heat usually will make a single click (off) and a few minutes later a click (on). If the fan in the freezer stops working well, the freezer will frost up and the fridge section will not be cold enough.
