According to the specifications available online, your Computer is shipped with the following Hard Drive specification:

Hard Drive:
Capacity: 320GB
Speed: 7200rpm
Interface: Serial ATA

NOTE: Sony does not recommend to replace the Internal Hard drive of the Computer by the End User.

However, you may replace the Hard Drive with the same type and size as the pre-installed one.

Also as this Computer is the All-in-One PC means it is like Notebook/Laptop Computer. I suggest that you contact any of your favorite Hardware retailers to check the available options to replace/upgrade the Hard drive of the Computer.

If you want to replace the Hard Drive by own then I suggest that you refer the User Guide of the Computer at page # 126 to 131 for the instruction and information to upgrade/replace the Hard drive in the Computer.

Check this link to download the User Guide of the Computer.

I hope this information will help you.

Please provide the exact issue you are experiencing if you any need further assistance.

Good Bye!!!!!!!

Sure, What is the exact model # of the Computer?

Are you getting any error message while accessing the Primary Hard Drive? If yes, then what is the exact error message?

But first I suggest you that you first check in the BIOS whether the Hard Drives are listed.

If the Hard Drive is not listed in the BIOS then the Hard Drive is bad or got damaged and it requires service to repair/replace the Hard Drive to resolve the issue.

To access the BIOS follow these steps:

    1. Please restart the Computer and press the F2 key when the Sony logo appears to access the BIOS.

    2. Check whether the Hard Drives are listed in the BIOS menu.

If yes, then reset the BIOS to default as follows:
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the BIOS Setup Utility window, press the RIGHT ARROW key until the Exit menu is selected.

On the Exit menu, press the DOWN ARROW key until Load Setup Defaults is selected.

    Press the ENTER key.

In the Setup Confirmation dialog box, press the ENTER key.

In the BIOS Setup Utility window, on the Exit menu, press the UP ARROW key until Exit Saving Changes is selected.
    Press the ENTER key.
In the Setup Confirmation dialog box, press the ENTER key.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After resetting the BIOS to default, if the issue persists then try performing the System Recovery.

Performing System Recovery will erase all the data from the Computer and will restore the Computer back to its factory settings. This will reinstall the preinstalled Operating System, Applications and the original Drivers.

Check this link for the steps to perform the System Recovery:

    Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, own a Sony Vaio VGN P530H with hardisk Toshiba MK6028GAL damaged. as forced to replace unit, wonder could install a higher capacity? Brand & model if available please!!! thanks to all of you!!!

The VAIO VGN-T350 is a notebook computer designed and distributed by Sony.
The hard drive on your Sony VAIO VGN-T350, which is the unit that stores data, consists of many clusters of data that can be rewritten with new data.
If you are looking for a memory capacity upgrade, or if your old hard drive is having errors, it's time for an upgrade.
Upgrading the hard drive on your Sony VAIO will require the use of a screwdriver and will take you about 30 minutes to complete.

Turn off your Sony VAIO VGN-T350 and remove the power cord and any other peripheral components.
Turn over your Sony VAIO VGN-T350 and locate the hard drive chamber on the bottom of your laptop. It will be clearly labeled.

Use the screwdriver to remove the screw holding the lid in place.
Gently lift the hard drive and its cage away from your laptop and disconnect the data cord.
Remove the four screws located at the corners, and then remove your old hard drive from its cage.
Place your new internal laptop hard drive into the cage and replace the screws.
Connect the data cord to your new hard drive and place your new hard drive into its chamber.
Close the lid and replace the screw to complete the operation.

How do I replace the hard drive on my sony Vaio VGN-NR120E?

To replace a hard drive, you'll need to backup any data you want to keep, uninstall the old hard drive, install the new hard drive, and then restore the backed up data.

The specific steps necessary to replace a hard drive differ depending on the type of hard drive you're replacing.

Replacing Hard Drive in a Sony VAIO SZ330P/B

Turn your Vaio upside down and look for an easy access panel or release lever to remove the hard drive carriage. You will probably need a small Philip's screw driver to remove the carriage, but I don't think you need to remove the keyboard.
