Question about Kenmore Elite 45986 Front Load Washer

Change one baffle only or do you need to replace all three?

I'm curious to know if when changing a defective baffle is it important to change ALL three baffles, presumably to keep the drum balanced.
I know that to buy a baffle I had to buy a package of three.

No as long as the baffles are screwed in properly and no other damage is present it is not important at all.

I have an Affinity Washer model #FAFW3801LW3 I need to change baffle in the tub. Do the screws line up so I don't have to take the outer tub off to remove baffle

I appreciate your post, Doug!
I see that you need to change the baffle in the tub of your Frigidaire washer, FAFW3801LW3, and you would like to know if the screws line up. Based off the parts manual it appears that the screws line up. I have included a a copy of your parts manual for you to review. I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt

Replacing the oil pressure sensor in my Buick.

I think the sensor is on the back side of the engine near the oil
pan, just back from the crank pullie. I have changed three engines
in my 98' Buick LeSabre. I think you could change the part with
a pair of chanel lock plyers.

Does a timing chain need to be replaced on a 2000 Mazda MPV with 112,000 miles. No problems just curious.

timing chains let you know when its time to change them as they rattle but if you do a rebuild at say 200k then obviously change the chain/tensioner

As dryer rotates, with clothes drying, it sounds like loose pocket change is loose in between the two!

the change gets caught in the three baffles that are attached to the drum.unplug the dryer, open the door and remove the two screws that hold the in place, remove the door, then remove the other two screws opposite the door screws and pull the front panel off.rotate the drum so one of the baffles are down in the right hand corner so you can get at the screws that hold the baffles onto the drum.try loosening the screws but you might have to remove the baffles to get to the change.let me know how you make out

Removing baffles

When removing such things or even changing exaust system, make sure carb jets are reset. Or if your bike is fuel injected to have it reprogramed.By changing exaust flow you change intake flow.

100000 mile service checks/replacement parts on a 2000 BMW 528i

If your talking about what would a dealership change, it generally consists of a tune up, including spark plugs, plug wires, air filter, oil change, pcv valve, and fuel filter. Thats also usually when they want to replace the timing belts. There may be one or two other things specific to BMW, but generally thats what you can expect.

GE dry is making a noise like loose change is rolling around

There may be change rolling around in it.
Remove the top. Take the screws out of the drum baffles and remove the coins from inside the dryer drum baffles.
When replacing them, tighten them well to help prevent coins from getting in there.
