CD Player can't find disk

I load my CD Player with CDs that are readable on my computer and in my car. When I try to play on the changer it tries to read the discs and reports "No Disc". I have the player in my basement which is heated, and there is normal humidity.

I've not used this CD changer much and would hate to have to trash it.

1.then the problem with the cd player laser beam reading assembly and its associating blocks
2. i guess your cd player laser beam lens is too weak or dead.
3. There is possible to change the lens system with a new one
4.Contact service centre for further rectification
