We have 4 of these cameras & they have slowly 1 by 1 quit working & it always seems to be after a power outage. Would the outage fry the cameras? They are still plugged in but it is like they have no power w/ no lights on or anything. Is there anything we can try to fix them? Or if we buy a new camera & plug into existing set up will that work?
Sounds like they have been fried by a power surge - it will be worth having surge protection on them in any future installation. Is there any voltage/hz selection on these units that need adjusting to suit local conditions or do you purchase against a specified voltage / hz ?

I can access the camera internally, but that doesn't really help me since I got the camera to access externally. I have a SBC 4100 Speedstream DSL Modem and a Linksys BEFSR41 Ver. 4.3 Router. Cannot access it away from home on the private viewnetcam URL that was assigned to me, nor can I access it on an external IP address. I have called Panasonic and Linksys for support numerous times. Panasonic says it works for them. FYI, I have set my router to port forwarding and all concur it was done right.
