I ran into this several years ago and the solution that I came up with (that worked) was to go to the local autoparts store and buy a filter wrench. Get one that has the adjustable rubber belt, which allows you to go to any size. Wrap it around the adaptor ring and gently turn- should come off. These wrenches are cheap too, under $10 and they can be used on other items as well- jars of food and anything else that you need to twist off. Hope this helps!

Phoenix Lens Adaptor

There are lots of adopters you can buy, to work with lenses from other brands. Bower has lots of adopters, but the easy one is just a Nikon to Canon adopter. The lens is manual focus, so you can't win anything by searching for an expensive solution.

Televid 77 zoom eyepiece is loose.

This is a VERY expensive spotting telescope. I would contact the folks at Company 7, and see if you can return the scope for professional repairs.

I want to remove the lens from the body

Why do you want to remove the lens? It's permanently fixed to the body. It's a great Leica super-zoom lens. What's wrong with yours?

Leica C1 -- Unusable, electronics haywired

hi,
your camera needs cleaning of lens and lens shutter; because some time dust particles gose inside and effect the alignment of lens and cause camera not working.

please give me good rating if the solution works
Thanks for using FixYa.

Lens

You have a 55mm filter size on your camera, and the accessory lens requires a 62mm camera connection. I think you are looking through a 55mm tunnel into a 62mm lens (over-simplified I know). The black ring is the result, and I don't think you can fix that. Is the telephoto a Panasonic accessory, or a third party item. I think I already know the answer to that. I'd take it back and see what Panasonic recommends - you'd be happier. However, Panasonic has Leica glass (Leitz lenses) so it won't be cheap.
