Hi,

Please provide us with more details like:

1) Does this error come up when you try to open a particular website or is it seen with all the websites?

2) The version of Internet Explorer installed on your PC and also the operating system and make/model of your PC.

3) Is your internet connection working normally and are you able to use other web browsers or Instant Messengers? Also, when was the last time that you were able to open the Internet Explorer successfully?

4) Have you made any recent hardware or software changes, installed or uninstalled any programs? Any other relevant information regarding this problem.

Please reply with the details so that we can help you accordingly. Thanks.

Try doing a non destructive system recovery to an earlier date when you did not have this issue. The "System Restore" tool is located in the system tools drop down menu.

Internet Explorer is not working. What I can do to get it back. I try different thing to get it back, but it was imposible. My son was plaing and delate internet explorer.

To reset Internet Explorer settings
  1. Close any Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer windows that are currently open.

  2. ?id=microsoft.windows.resources.shellexecutetopiciconClick to open Internet Explorer.

  3. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.

  4. Click the Advanced tab, and then click Reset.

  5. Select the Delete personal settings check box if you would like to remove browsing history, search providers, Accelerators, home pages, and InPrivate Filtering data.

  6. In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, click Reset.

  7. When Internet Explorer finishes restoring the settings, click Close, and then click OK.

  8. Close Internet Explorer.

Your changes will take effect the next time you open Internet Explorer.

Notes
  • If you close all visible windows, but still get an error message when trying to reset, you might have programs running that are not visible. Restart Windows, open Internet Explorer, and try resetting again.

  • To back up your home page or home page set before resetting Internet Explorer defaults, see Back up your home page or home page tabs.

  • If any of the categories fail to reset, it is because Internet Explorer could not access a file or registry setting. This can be caused by insufficient security privileges, files or settings being used by another program, or low memory or high CPU usage. You can either continue to use Internet Explorer without restoring these settings, or restart your computer and try to reset again.

  • If you are using Internet Explorer on a server and have turned off Enhanced Security Configuration or hardening (stronger security settings for use on servers), reset will go to client-level security. You must reinstall hardening if you want the increased security level. For more information on Enhanced Security Configuration, see Enhanced Security Configuration for Internet Explorer online.

I cannot delet an email message form my web page.

This could be a browser problem. What you could do is to try clearing the cookies, cache and internet files of your internet browser. Here's how:

* For Internet Explorer:
1. Run Internet Explorer and click on 'Tools' menu.
2. Go to Internet Options and locate the Browsing History section.
3. Click the 'Delete' button and delete the Temporary Internet Files, Cookies and History.
4. Close the Internet Explorer and re-open it.
5. Access your e-mail.

* For Mozilla Firefox:
1. Run Firefox and hit 'Tools' menu.
2. Go to 'Clear Recent History' and click the drop-down arrow for 'Time range to clear'.
3. Select 'Everything' and then hit the 'Clear Now' button.
4. Close and re-open Firefox
5. Access your e-mail.

Or, might as wel, try using another internet browser like Mozilla Firefox, Opera browser or Netscape to isolate the problem.

Thank you!

I continually get "This page contains both secure and nonsecure item. Do you want to continue". I am using IE7. How do I stop that message from popping up?

With Internet Explorer open select Tools from the menu, than select Internet Options. Select the Advanced tab. Scroll to the bottom of the options and de-select Warn if changing between secure and non-secure mode. Than close and restart Internet Explorer.

Web pages won't load, but internet connection is fine.

Check the Proxy settings in the LAN Connection area.

Here is a document which provides information on the Proxy Settings. You should have NOTHING in the proxy settings. I suspect that you have something that is wrong.
