Well, either your video card or screen is most likely dying.
The way that you can tell is by hooking up your laptop up
to an external monitor, and if the lines appear on it, then
it's your video card, and you need to replace it. If not, then
it's probably your screen that's dying, in which case you
should either get a new screen or a new computer.
