I am having a problem with my "16 port Network KVM switch." I can view the different servers but i can not enter into the different servers.

I am getting a message from the screen saying that: "WARNING: PC entering Power save Mode: RED, GREEN, BLUE"

can someone help me on that problem.

Re: Network KVM not Working

Is it talking about the Remote side PC? Did maybe the network card go to sleep? go into low power mode?

If the network card goes to sleep might I suggest unchecking the sleep mode check box in the network card properties in device manager?

Sounds kind of rough but not a lot to go on.

We brought CS9008 -1-U , connected in network, configured basic setup, still the Perle console port connected NW switch is not up

Please get the switch port status on the Network switch.
Connect a laptop to the network switch where the CS9008 -1-U is connected and see if thge link is comming up or not

There are below reasons the link should not come up

1. Speed is not matching/same configured on the both the end (CS9008 -1-U & the Network Switch port)
2. Network switch port is administatrtively down
3. Cable faulty

you need to set up port forwarding on your router and set up dydns account and switch on the service on your dvr. enter details on dydns page on dvr.
if you cannot log in via web address provided by dydns try entering your ip add with port your forwarding like this

hope this helps

KVM switch: This is a Keyboard video and mouse switch. It is used to connect multiple computer/servers to the same Keyboard Monitor and mouse. It is typically use in Racks housing multiple servers to swap between server without having to use a Keyboard Mouse and a Monitor per server.
SMC switch: I believe is a brand for Ethernet switches, used to connect computer together in the same LAN.

Network connectivity problem...

Most likely issue is no common server on the network to specify which computer has what IP address and associate that with a name. Bob's computer gets a different IP address each time he turns it on, and the same happens with Sally. But Joe's always seems to get the same IP, so everybody can always find Joe. Specifying static IP addresses on all computers is a beginning to solving this, then I would edit the hosts file on each computer to specify that Bob is at IP x.x.x.x, and Sally is x.x.x.x, and Joe is x.x.x.x, copy this hosts file to all computers, and edit it when new computers are added. Another solution would be to get a Windows Server that is doing both the DHCP (Assigning Addresses) and DNS (A computer program running on a server, translating names into IP addresses), all computers will ask the DNS server where Bob is, and get a response from an internal server that says bob is x.x.x.x
The issue you are having is the number one reason to get away from a peer-to-peer network.

Laptop cant connect wirelessly

Hey Charlie, If you re-installed your operating system you will need to get the wireless modem driver from your dell disk. For some reason they have not included the drivers in the windows software. If you can't find it then you can go on to the Dell site(obviously on another computer) and enter your service tag and get your drivers that way.

I hope this helps
