Mouse will not respone. changed batteries, syned

mouse will not respone. changed batteries, syned it still no response.
rebooted it still no responce. light on top of mouse will not light up. bottom of mouse just keeps flashing real fast, then slowes down to a steady flashing. a little faster that a curcer flashing. when it stops it goes dead.
