I would suspect hardware, not software. If you feel comfortable doing it, you can remove the keyboard from the laptop, gently disconnect the ribbon cable, and wash the keyboard on the gentle cycle from the top rack of your dish washer.
Give it a day to dry fully dry or you may even want to give it a good blow with an can-air duster. Then see if the sticky keys start working.
