Question about Frigidaire FEF336BC Electric Kitchen Range
My electric frigidaire oven overheats and shows F1, it won't stop, and I can't even turn it off unless I switch off the electricity. How can I solve this problem?
F 1 FAULT CODE INDICATES A FAILURE OF THE CONTROL.
REPLACE THE CONTROL(CLOCK).

Tips for a great answer:
Good Morning Monica, thank you for your post!
Based off what you have described your Frigidaire range is providing you with an error code of F1 after you started a self-cleaning. The error code "F1" stands for a runaway temperature (overheating). This could be an issue with your RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) or the EOC (Electronic Oven Control). I would recommend performing a reset on your oven and you can do that by disconnecting from your oven for ten minutes. If you continue to have issues with the F1 error code I would recommend having a professional technician out to your home for proper diagnosis and replacement of any electrical components. Hopefully this information has been helpful. -Matt
