I bought Word 2007 for my computer for college. I bought the 3 computer pack because i needed it for my mom and sisers computers as well. When the product key window pops up at the beginning i entered the key that was on the package and the computer's response was that the product key contains no "I" 's and no "0" 's but the key that came on the package had I's and 0's. The other computers just come up with that window every time you open word and it will let you on if you just dont enter the key. Mine locks word so i can only view documents, i cannot type or use word at all. What can i do to fix this?

Open the CD case or packaging that came with Word 2007 when you bought it as physical media, either from an in-store or online retailer. Find a sticker with the 25-character Product Key for Word 2007 or the whole Office suite.
Look for a Certificate of Authenticity in the computer packaging. It includes a small seal or sticker. The certificate will have the 25-character code you need.
Look for a sticker on your computer if you bought it with Office pre-installed. It may be on the back or bottom side and will have your Product Key listed there.
Open your email account that you provided when you bought Microsoft Word 2007 from Microsoft Office Online. When you made the purchase, you were sent a confirmation email with the purchase details and the Product Key you need. Search your email archives until you find the message.
Contact Microsoft if you have lost your Product Key. To do so, run the Product Activation Wizard in Word 2007. Open Word and click the "Microsoft Office Button." Click "Word Options." Select "Resources." Under "Activate Microsoft Office," click "Activate." Begin the wizard to find the Microsoft Support telephone number you need to call. Make sure you have the Word 2007 or Office 2007 CD and your computer serial number available.
u can contact microsoft and the support person will ask for a no. that is on the inner layer of the cd .... once you give him the no. and if you have registered your version of the microsoft office .... they will charge about $10 and send you the product key ...
Hey, in terms of license due to the law of piracy. If you buy a license of the said products it is good only for one computer. The microsoft is very restricted about their products. So if your purchased products before which is using by your daughter's friend and it is active until now you can not use it. You can buy a new copy of that application software.
If Ms Words says it the wrong key, then it is the wrong key.
Are you sure it isent the OS key you tring to type in?
The OS key dont work on Ms Word, Ms Words had and need its own key.
If you know that the key is the one, then you should contact Microsoft, we dont give out or handle keys.
Trial versions that are pre-installed on your PC do not come with product keys. they are 60 day trial versions only with instructions to purchace a product key durring the trial or when the trial is over.
Better bet - if you are a student, check with your college to see what kind of deal they have on Microsoft (or other manufacturer) software. Often times colleges have access to much much cheaper licenses than you will get from the Microsoft website to purchace a product key. If they don't have a discount program, you might consider an off the shelf copy of Office 2007 Academic license. Again, much cheaper than a normally licensed version.
