On this model the hose get a hole worn in it from raising and lowering the handle causing it to lose suction.

Order from a Hoover dealer.

Hi, how do I check my hoover floormate deluxe spinscrub's filter and motor?

Hi Mike! To check the filter on the Floormate deluxe, remove the dirty water tank and pull up on tank lid to separate from the base. Check foam filter for debris, if filter has debris, rinse it with water. To prevent internal damage make sure you are using only the Hoover Floormate detergent. If the machine is still noisy and smells bad we recommend taking it in to a Hoover authorized service center. Follow the link to find the nearest service center to you. Hope this helps! My SteamVac SpinScrub works fine then all of a sudden, the noise level of the vac seems higher and does not **** up water. I turn off vac then turn it back on, works good for awhile, then noisy, higher...

It sounds as if the ball in the tank in shutting down the suction prematurely. Be sure there is a gap of about 3/4 inch between the top of the filter inside the tank, and the lid of the dirty water tank. Without this gap, suction will pull the ball up too soon.

HOOVER FLOORMATE SPINSCRUB WILL NOT PICK UP WATER

First make sure that you are getting suction from the bottom of the machine. Most of the time the squeegee is worn out which does not allow it to pick up the water like it use to. Turn over the machine and inspect the squeegee. If it looks worn or bent then it may be time to replace it. You may also consider replacing the filter. These are the two most common parts that wear out.

SteamVac F5914-900 SpinScrub won't stay upright or collect water

(1) Upright: Sounds like the tab on the lower handle that the handel release latches to has broken off. The machine is fully functional without it otherwise.

(2) Assure the ring gasket is in place under the hood. A round rubber gasket must be in place on the round tube under the hood where the recovery tank sits to connect the vacuum from the motor to the round tube on the bottom of the tank.

I have a hoover spinscrub 800. It washes great

in some cases when this happenes it's usually from a really bad filter or the squeege at the bottom of the nozzle. the squeege is what makes contact with the floor and suctions all of the water up. to take off. take off the nozzle and there will be (3) screws inside of the nozzle. once these screw are removed, the squeege can be removed. at hoover.com the replacement part # is 93001094. ( according to model # H3060 )

I would almost guarantee the recovery tank is not seated properly. Trust me, I reseated the tank 5-10 times before giving up. I finally decided to give it one more try before forking out the money for another cleaner. I removed the clean water tank, turned the machine on (you could feel the air blowing out the sides on the bottom). With the machine still running, I unclipped the recovery tank and lifted it up (yes, you can do this, and it creates a very loud air thrust, but don't be scared), then I SLAMMED it back down into the seat and immediately I could tell the difference. The air stopped blowing from underneath and I could tell I had suction once again. I turned it off, put the clean water tank back on, and it worked like a charm. Trust me, you may be convinced that the recovery tank is seated properly.....LOL.....it ain't! Hope this helps!

Hoover spinscrub water keeps coming our

Check the machine where the water tank is installed, you will see a pipe stem this stem should have an o-ring gasket on it. also look at the plunger in the tank for proper seating.
