Kyocera strobe keys 7,8,9

On front panel, I press 7,8 or 9 and they do not work. Is there a way to remove the front panel to repair this? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you

My Strobe keys 7,8,9 as well as the scroll button were not working either. Apparently it is the little button that gets pushed when the phone is closed. Very iffy to fix. But if I push that button just right all the buttons on the front of the phone work. I have taken the phone apart, replaced the button, replaced the keys nothing works it is almost as if the circut goes a bit haywire, and decides not to work unless forced. Or the rubber button doesn't seat well enough to push the circut properly.

I would take it to your provider if it is under warranty. Very iffy to try to fix keys.

Hello! I work in an office and we use the Kyocera KM2050 and are trying to figure out how to have a confirmation page print after a fax is sent just so we know it was delivered successfully. Thank you!

1 Press the System Menu key.
2 Press the down arrow key to select Fax Default.
3 Press the Enter key.

4 Press the arrow down key to select Print Report.
5 Press the Enter key.

6 Press the arrow down key to select TX Transaction.
7 Press the Enter key.

8 Press the arrow down key to select when you want the report to print out.

The asterisk (*) in the message display indicates the current setting.

9 Press the Enter key. The setting for that report is complete.

> If you want to continue the setting procedure for other reports, repeat steps 6 - 9.

> If you want to perform other setting procedures, select End and then press the Enter key.

> If you are finished making settings, press the Reset key. The operation panel will return to the
initial mode settings.

This information can be found on page 7-2 of the Fax System Operation Guide which can be down loaded from Kyocera's website.

Your waste ink absorber box has reached its limit. You have to replace the box (which is cheap, get one from your local brother service centre).
After replacing it you have to reset the purge counter and flushing counter.

This is not easy to do and I don't recommend it for anyone who is not technically inclined. You have to remove the front control panel, open the covers on the top cover assembly under the scanner. Unplug all the cables. Disconnect the ground wire (if any), remove the prop, remove the scanner assy by opening 90 degrees and sliding rearward. Put scanner aside. Remove four screws holding top case on, pry out the bosses at the front and remove the top cover.
At the rear you will see the flushing box or waste ink box. Lift it up a little. You should see two tubes attached. Remove the tubes and pull the box out. Dispose of old box. Attach the tubes to the new box and install it where the old one was. Reassemble in reverse order. Don't forget to plug in all the cables under the control panel.

Plug the unit in while holding down the Menu button. Keep holding until all the lights are flashing. Welcome to maintenance mode.
Press 8 and then 0. Press the Black Start key several times until you see Purge or Purge Count on the display. Now press 2, 7, 8, 3 to clear the count. Press Stop. Press 8, 0 again and the Black Start key several times until you see Flush or Flushing count. Again press 2, 7, 8, 3 to reset the flush count. Press Stop. Press 9 and 9 to exit maintenance mode. Job done.

Please

sorry to tell you sweety but that is the end of your phone. I first purchased a Kyocera Strobe, I had only had it for a month when it did the very same thing. I took it back to the metro store and all they could do for me was reimburse me for half of the money i spent on downloads. They replaced the phone with a another one and by the grace of god I've have this one for a year. It is on its last limb cause I have to open it up to dial 7, 8, and 9. Sorry that it happened but you will not be able to retrieve your info. That's why now I have an address book (paper) and I send all of my pictures that I take to my email cause I will not deal with that problem ever again.
