Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3
My phones just works fine, but when i keep it for charging it shows " insert sim" message. I just restart the phone and it starts working fine. Please let me know what is the problem.
You may have a frimware problem.....first try and get the phone service to see if that corrects the error......or you may need to get the phone reflash.

May be its detecting your sim card properly. Check your sim card in another handset. Verify if its the propbelm with sim card not your handset.

SOURCE: i bought my sony ericcson
If you have said that you have the phone repaired by shops and the problem still keep coming back, I can suggest that maybe it is time for replacement of the phone.
If you say that after repair it can be used then after 5 months the problem comes back, the phone may be having some other problems, and it would be practical to just replace the phone than to have it repaired everytime, the costs of the continous repair i guess can add up to a price of a new one.
Alternaely if the phone have warranties, should have it brought from where you bought it, and explained the situation, they can replace it, providing it isnt repaired by any other shop.
These are because your phone model have some components that need PROFESSIONAL repair methods, and only AUTHORIZED tech can perform the repair.
