Using a Verifone P250 Printer with a PC Credit Card Program

I am using a ChasePaymentech iTerminal on my PC to process creditcards. The system will print recipts on a regular 8 1/2 X 11 sheet of paper, but I have been told that I can use my Verifone P250 printer to print the credit card reciepts. I am told by Tasq Technology all I need is a printer driver. My problem I can't seem to find anyone who knows about this driver?

I can't seem to find the custom paper size setting in Windows XP.

This printer was never designed to be used directly with a computer.. It was designed to be used with a terminal unit like a Trans330. You can usually use the Generic Text driver under windows but it may require you to use a custom paper setting.

By verifpne readers are you referring to an actual credit card processing machine or the type that attaches to a cell phone or tablet? they will need to be activated for the processor you are using. you may want to call your processor to see if they are compatible.

I am sorry to inform you but this unit is stand alone only. You cannot connect this to a computer. There are no cables or drivers made for this unit to connect to computer. The connection is only for printer.

Need the printer to only print the last 4 digits

To solve last 4 digit issue.
It need to reprogram Tranz 330.
Not buying Printer
this model is not compatible with PCI compliance.
contact your processing company and let them reprogram this.

No card for transation

One if not too late. This terminal is out of compliance with running credit cards through. But if your merchant service provider is allowing you to continue then at the main screen just:

Hit 1
Then enter CC # and enter or function.
Then EXP date of the card then function.
Then Address and or ZIP of the billing for the cardholder
then enter and it should process it VIA dial approval line.

Get in touch with a gift card company or you processor (as many have programs) they will set you up with a program and cards and put the program in the machine.
