We have several of these printers. One produces a loud sqeaking noise with each sheet of paper printed. We have no error codes. No known cause, but it does cause lots of headaches.
Our LJ4350 displays 49.2F80 error and asking to get a maintenance kit
HP Q5421A. I recently installed a new fuser unit as there was loud squeaky noise coming from the back of the printer. After I installed the fuser unit the noise went away but has returned and this time its got louder. The noise is coming from the same area as before. My question is are the error and the maintenance kit connected in any way with the noise we're getting on the printer?
A critical firmware error has occurred that
caused the processor on the formatter to
abort the operation.
This type of error can be caused by invalid
print commands, corrupt data, or invalid
operations.
In some instances, electrical noise in the
cable can corrupt data during transmission
to the printer. Other causes include poorquality
parallel cables, poor connections, or
specific software programs.
Sometimes, the formatter itself is at fault,
which is usually indicated by a 79 Service error
