The safety bar comes not good unter the trigger plate a little plate mount inside the trigger that will lift up by safety valve some brands have has maybe something to do with it.

Special care with this remove all nails before try this look behind backwarts after the trigger in the middle you see a pin that goes up and try to lift it up with a screwdriver you know for shure that if a safety bar is in doubt that it can or will working to test by this example to test where the bar is blocked.

My hoover steamvac trigger won't spray

Remover the upper handle assembly and check the linkage (inside the upper handle) where it connects to the button/trigger assembly in the handle grip. This may have detached or the trigger may be loose from its mount in the handle. Reattach or replace the broken part.

The fast idle button on my Poulan 2050 is stuck down all the time. I assume it should pop up and lock into place when depressed. I can get a total replacement part, with pins, no problem. How do I...

The trigger and lock out lever comes as a kit, part no. 530071305, remove the top cover, depress the trigger and pry up the throttle wire away from the trigger, knock out the two roll pins, drop the trigger out of the bottom of the handle, lift the throttle lock out of the top of the handle.

Trigger saftey is not working press trigger it fires

DO NOT USE TOOL in this condition. You have a problem with a jammed safety or malfunctioning trigger. Did the safety get bent so that it will not reset or is the spring missing. I would look to see if the safety is holding up on the latch in the trigger area and go from there.

My nailer has a large air leak around the plastic button under the trigger is this the prob, and how do i replace the plastic part

To replacement trigger valve, remove trigger, then remove two roll pins holding trigger valve in body. Apply air pressure to gun to pop out valve(use heavy glove to catch valve as the air pushes it out) . Use caution because the valve can pop out with force. You may try to replace the bad oring before ordering the new valve. Orings are available at Lowes or at your neerest bearing store. Of orings are not available, order replacement valve from address below:

Porter Cable FN250B nailer won't nail. It makes a thunk when the trigger is pulled, and air escapes around the trigger. The piston does not move.It does not seem to be related to the saftey.

it sounds like there is a jammed nail in the nose/magazine or possibly a bent or broken driver. UNPLUG the air and remove the top cap carefully and see if the piston is twisted in the cylinder. Let me know and I will try and find you a breakdown for this tool

Fires spontaneously

Trigger valve should be the problem,,but the saftey should be the first thing to look at .It should not fire unless safty guard is not working,,,check it first
