Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Nothing to worry about. Go to HP.com and from there select Software and Driver Downloads. Download the Full feature software and driver for windows Vista. Run the Installation.
If the softwares are installed it will ask you to "Add a device". Add a device and select network option. The device will be installed. Now there is a patch on HP.com for unexpected uninstallation. Download it and install it on the computer. It will resolved the issue.

SOURCE: Does HP LJ 3055 printer scan over the wireless network?

Scan over wireless network is not supported with this printer. You can try set it up and get scanner to work with usb and then change port from usb to HP standard TCP/IP for the device, but I don't think it will work.

Have you setup the the printer to find for wireless and you also then must setup the "Mac" for wireless.

The printer will then seek wireless products and log in. Its fairly simple, I had a similar problem the mistake was setting up the printer to seek other wireless products

My HP 7410 all in one printer went offline & I can't get it back

You must be logged on to the computer as a user with administrative rights to install new programs and applications. Please see this article for a description of this situation. It's a bit complex, but you are being asked for your logon password to verify your identity as a user with rights (admin) to make changes to your system.
The alternative is to use the add printer wizard to install the printer.
If you're having problems with your printer, please be aware that HP has an excellent support site online at www.HP.com.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take a moment to kindly rate this post....thanks!
