Question about Apple iPhone Smartphone
I have an iphone 3g, and after the recent updated to 3.1, i'm experiencing problems sending from my Yahoo mail that used to work just fine since i got the iphone a year ago.
i can receive & read my email on my yahoo account but when i send a message it sits on my outbox and i get an error message "Cannot send mail" "error delivering your mail"
I deleted the account and add it again, I've reset the iphone several times and is not working.
I also have 2 other emails (Exchange Server from work & Gmail) and both are working fine. I can send & receive.
Also I can't connect to any Yahoo site (the Yahoo! App is not connecting) and Flickr is also not connecting on my iphone.
First step is try reseting the network settings. You can do this by going to settings/general/reset and reset network settings.
This will drop you off the network and reset your phone. Bringing your phone back up with current network settings.
Try sending mail. If this doesn't work, try changing your outgoing mail server.
Go into settings/mail, contacts, and calendars/(your yahoo account)/Outgoing mail server.
This will bring you to a list of mail servers, your primary server being the yahoo server with the AT&T smtp server under other.
Click on your primary yahoo server and switch this server to off. click the blue smtp arrow on the very top left. This will bring you back to the server list. go to the AT&T smtp server and turn this server on.
Go ahead and exit out either by the arrow or the home button.
Access your yahoo account see if you can send mail.

Testimonial: "fabulous! thank you! work perfectly now!"
When I get another message in my Yahoo! Mail account, I get to know instantly. One path is to check the Yahoo! Mail Web website constantly.
Another, a great deal more agreeable way is to have your program do that on its own-with a little assistance from Yahoo! Mail application on Smartphone device. To get emails alert quickly rather missing any of the mail. The client can visit the site for more info.- https://yahoosupportservices.edublogs.org/

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
