Question about Audio Players & Recorders

Generic problem for Media Players

I have uploaded about 225 songs, but the player does not show them. It shows only 100 songs. Even the computer does not read all the files. The computer shows memory occupied as 756mb, where as the actual memory taken up by the files is about 1GB. I have formatting the MP4 player many times and I have the same problem
to copy the files I use the software AMT MEDIA MANAGER deliver with the mp3 player, other hand I just copy the files to the mp3 player
I have the same problem in both cases
Can someone help me please????!!!

Make sure that the songs that you uploading with your mp3 player is mp3 format, not wma or other, maybe your are loading a format that your player cant recognize.

Firstly, a quick search on the manufacturer's Website throws up this: http://http.vitalstreamcdn.com/cobyelectronics_vitalstream_com/manuals/MPC848_MN.pdf the Manual in PDF format.
Secondly, to delete files: Plug the Player into your computer. It should show up as a USB external drive. Open said drive. Select files and delete. Simple, and this works with most portable media players.

Windows ME and Insignia

Insignia mp3 players can use the generic mass storage driver in almost any computer. Windows ME includes a generic mass storage driver. When you plug in the USB cord, two extra drive letters will show up in Windows Explorer. Songs go into the Music folder. For neatness: Make new folder for each artist and under each artist, make a new folder for each album.
Also slight chance the USB mode got off of Automatic in the player's options. Please do advise if it won't work, I will show you where to get the generic mass storage driver for windows ME and 98 if for some reason it isn't installed on your machine.

Mp3 wont play downloaded music

The device has 2 modes on it MSC and MTP, if you changed modes and uploaded songs in the other mode, they are only visible on the PC in that mode. But, the PC will show the total amount of free space on the device.

If this is not the issue, I would try formatting your device to remove everything and start over.

You can FORMAT thru My Computer>Device Name (e280)>Right Click and select FORMAT.

Best of Luck.

Player doesn't seem to recognize songs.

Try transferring the songs directly to the music folder of the player and check if they would be recognized by the player. And make sure the Bitrate is in the range of 120-320kbps .

1 gb mp3 player not working

Same thing happened to me. I was using windows media player to sync my song and it says my player was using 260 mb of space even though it was formatted time after time. I simply loaded as many song as I could fit on the player. When I unplugged it and plugged it back in, windows media now showed that missing 260 mb of space as available. The only catch is that the song I had already uploaded on to the player were not shown on the sync list.
