Question about BoxWave Corporation Apple iPhone 2G Designio Leather Case
I currently have an iphone 2g with 3.1 firmware. 2 days ago it got stuck on the ''slide to unlock'' screen. It has been non responsive even though i have hard reset it as well as restored it several times. It almost seems like the bottom quarter of the screen just doesn't work, when i turn the phone off and the slide to power down screen comes on the cancel but doesn't work but i can slide to power it down. Is there anything that i could do to remedy this?
Seems like the digitizer(which sense the touches) is not working. Replace with a new one and you'll be good to go

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

You need to buy a new phone. Dropping Iphones is a huge no no. They are very fragile. See if you can't get a replacement or if your phone company will try to fix it for you. It's a matter of the ink in the screen, something cracked and got air in it. Hope I've helped!

the sound on that device is not great I have been using a charger that says its not supported for over a year. But if you hold down the top and bottom middle buttom at the same time then power off it wll do a soft reset.

This is because your battery is so flat it doesnt even have the power to turn off properly, and the program does often get "stuck" when this happens. Remove the battery, recharge the phone and it should be ok.

Try press and hold power button till it turns off and then turn on while holding home and power for 10 seconds and then release power button only and hold home still for 30 seconds. It should put phone in DFU recovery mode and then iTunes should see it. Once it does, re-install latest OS.
