There seems to be a problem with the resolution on your computer. might be the resolution is too high for the monitor or for your video card. try to lower the resolution of the display to 1024x768 then check if it will do same.
if yes. try to update the video card driver of your computer.
if still same, try a different monitor.
if still same. it's a video card issue.
