Hp dc7800 crashed after error message stating side by side configuration problems. How can i repair the system. It will not boot up at all

What does the above mean ??? If the BIOS does not see a particular device loading ( like Hard Drive ) Try bringing up the Bios setting F-2 and reset to default. Hope this helps

Don't worry about the message. If you think the operating system has been damaged next time you turn the laptop on repeatedly press F8 to get you into the advanced boot menu and select "Last known good configuration".
